My Background
Hi, I’m Sue, a fully trained and insured, massage and ScarWork therapist.

Having qualified in therapeutic massage, anatomy and physiology in 1993 I have worked full time as a massage therapist ever since. In 1994 I joined the team at a Chiropractic Clinic, where I worked alongside the chiropractors offering massage therapy. It was during this time that I saw first-hand the benefits obtained through massage. I then went on to study Sports Massage with Claire Maxwell Hudson School of Massage in London and I have worked in several back and health care clinics since.
My thanks are owed to all the professionals who willingly gave me their time, helping me to understand in greater depth the workings of the musculoskeletal system so I could further help my patients. I have developed my career over the years by gaining qualifications in different types of massage.
‘Where the pain is, the problem isn’t’

My philosophy is to treat the person, as a whole, rather than simply focusing on the ailment. I have a person-centred approach so that your session is not rushed and is tailored to your specific needs.
I now work from home in my tranquil and calming ground floor treatment room in Wokingham. I have a highest quality, extra wide electric massage couch which is easy to get on and off and has deep foam padding making it extremely comfortable.
